Schuyler County, IL

Located in West Central Illinois, Schuyler County was organized in January 1825. Schuyler County is named for Philip Schuyler, a soldier of the French and Indian wars, a Major General of the American Revolution and later a member of the New York Senate.

Schuyler County is divided into 13 political townships with a 2020 census population of 6902. The county seat and Schuyler County Courthouse are located in Rushville, Illinois.
